Variation
All natural materials vary from block to block (batches), but some vary more than others. The following is designed as a guide and we recommend to obtain slab images for your specific project for medium and high variation colours:
Finishes
Our KönigNaturals surfaces either have a Polished or Leather finish and are available in thicknesses of 20 or 30mm. The following guide indicates which colours are available in which finish and thickness. Some specifications are available on special order, which usually requires 6-8 weeks’ notice.
Leather finishes are achieved by brushing away the softer minerals from the surface, which provides a tactile textured finish. Materials with a uniform structure will have a much more subtle Leather finish while those with a large variation in mineral hardness result in a heavier texture.

Each slab is one of a kind with its own characteristics and colouring, formed millions of years ago deep below the Earth’s surface. We simply treat the material with an impregnating, invisible sealer that also allows the material to breathe and backed by a 15-year warranty
