We had a fantastic time at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2023 and are truly grateful that our KönigOutdoor kitchen was part of the incredible Savills ‘plot-to-plate’ Garden.
The show garden, designed by ‘King of Chelsea’ Mark Gregory of Landform Consultants, was awarded Silver Gilt and featured the show’s first ever working outdoor kitchen, surrounded by colourful ornamental and edible planting.
Green Michelin starred chef Sam Buckley prepared a daily three course lunch in the KonigOutdoor kitchen for eight Chelsea Pensioners with many ingredients foraged from the surrounding living larder.
The beautiful outdoor kitchen featured a hard wearing and easy to clean worktop in Neolith Pietra Di Osso with cupboard and drawer fronts in Neolith Beton Silk, both of whose neutral tones perfectly complimented the surrounding brickwork. The fully functional kitchen featured appliances including a Blastcool fridge, Fulgor Milano Grill, Barazza sink and hob and Quooker tap.
Our highlights were meeting all of the wonderful hardworking people who contributed to the garden and seeing the Princess of Wales showing school children around the garden, explaining the advantages of growing your own food and smelling various herbs.
